What to expect on a Costa Cruise
Written by Serene Low
Costa Kids Programme
With the onboard Costa Kids Programme, children on the cruise can participate in a wide range of activities to keep themselves entertained. Children from ages 3-17 can join one of four clubs (Mini, Maxi, Teen Junior, Teen), depending on their age group. Activities range from art projects to sports tournaments, to themed parties and talent shows. Costa entertainment staff will be present to supervise so parents can enjoy themselves on the cruise without having to worry about their children.
For an added bonus, two children under 18 who stay in their parents' cabin on the Costa Victoria get to cruise for free!
With over 2,000 different cruise excursions offered, passengers can hope to gain some new experiences on their voyage. Whether your interest lies in having outdoor adventures, exploring famous museums, or visiting heritage sites, there’s an excursion for everyone. If you prefer, Costa Cruises also offers personalized cruise outings, where you get to choose your own itinerary. To book and purchase an excursion on your cruise, simply key in your name and booking number on Costa’s official site.

True to their Italian roots, Costa Victoria's five restaurants serve regional Italian cuisine. Enjoy traditional fare like homemade ravioli or gnocchetti. A Pizzeria will also offer a variety of nine different pizzas for guests. There will be additional charges if you're dining at Club il Magnifico, and reservations are required.
For anyone who wants to know more about Italian cuisine, cooking demonstrations and classes are avalibale onboard for guests. Learn to make a traditional pesto sauce traditionally, using a mortar and pestle.
