Modern History Amazing Thailand Skyscrapper

LEGOLAND Malaysia

Written by Serene Low

The park is divided into seven different areas, each with its own theme. Visitors start their adventure at The Beginning, where one can hope to visit the numerous souvenir shops after purchasing their tickets.

Then, you may choose to head to LEGO® TECHNIC, where adrenaline junkies can brave Project X, an 18 metre high roller coaster, or get wet by fending off water bombs in Aquazone Wave Racers. Children can exercise their creativity by building their own LEGO creations in the aptly named LEGO Academy and LEGO MINDSTORMS – a robotic workshop.

Journey back to medieval times in the adjacent LEGO® KINGDOM and explore the Forestmen’s Hideout and Castle Stage before tackling the fearsome Dragon ride and Merlin’s Challenge – a high-speed Carousel.

Head to the Observation tower or Kids Power Tower in IMAGINATION to gain the best views of the entire attraction, then take in a 4D movie at LEGO Studios.  The younger visitors will also enjoy a train ride on the DUPLO Express or playing in DUPLO Playtown.

The intrepid will love the Land of Adventure, where you can rub shoulders with pharaohs and dinosaurs. Rides include The Lost Kingdom, Pharoah’s Revenge, Beetle Bounce and the thrilling Dino Island.

Let your kids take control in LEGO® CITY, where visitors get to drive their own car or captain their own battery powered boat.

All LEGOLANDs have a Miniland, a section of the park featuring highly detailed scale LEGO replicas of famous landmarks and cities. The replicas are highlights of the theme parks, and the one in Malaysia is no different. See what some of Asia’s most recognizable attractions like the Taj Mahal, Petronas Twin Towers and the Merlion look like in LEGO, and marvel at the amount of craftsmanship put into designing each one.

If you’re planning to visit the park soon, rumour has it that there will be exclusive opening day discounts on LEGO sets and souvenirs and free gifts on September 15. Promising hard-to-find sets and LEGOLAND exclusives, the shops at LEGOLAND often set LEGO collectors abuzz. You can even customise your own minifigures and creations.
