Itinerary:

DAY 1 SINGAPORE – CAPE TOWN (Meals on Board/Ostrich Lunch/African Dinner)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, visit an ostrich farm where you may enjoy photo-taking opportunities with these birds. Enjoy an ostrich lunch before embarking on a city tour. Drive pass Castle of Good Hope, the restored fort of Cape Town, City Hall, House of Parliament and the historical Malay Quarters. Take a cable car ride to ascend to the top of the famous Table Mountain, if weather permits. Thereafter, proceed to Signal Hill to take in views of Cape Town.

DAY 2 CAPE TOWN (Breakfast/Lobster Lunch/ Sliced Abalone Dinner)
Enjoy a full–day tour of Cape Peninsula to the Atlantic suburbs of Sea Point, Clifton Beach, Camps Bay as well as Hout Bay. Enjoy a leisure boat ride to Seal Island if weather permits. After lunch, travel along False Bay to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve before arriving at Cape Point where you can ascend to the summit to admire its spectacular views. Continue to Boulders Beach to catch a glimpse of African penguins. You will also pass Simon’s Town, an old naval base, Muizenberg and Fish Hoek.

DAY 3 CAPE TOWN (Breakfast/Western Lunch)
Escape to the beauty and tranquillity of Stellenbosch, the 2nd–oldest town in South Africa. Tour a local winery and enjoy a wine–tasting session. Later, proceed to Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the entertainment centre of Cape Town, for shopping.

DAY 4 CAPE TOWN – JOHANNESBURG – PRETORIA – SUN CITY (Breakfast/Lunch)
Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Johannesburg. Continue to Pretoria, South Africa’s administrative capital, to see the Voortrekker Monument. Drive past Church Square and Union Building, the site of the inauguration of President Mbeki and Nelson Mandela. Proceed to Soweto Township, the site of the tragic 1976 riots. Despite its crowded and chaotic conditions, there is still a tangible sense of community in these neighbourhoods that you cannot find in the orderly and walled suburbs. Thereafter, proceed to Sun City, a premier holiday resort in South Africa.

DAY 5 SUN CITY (Breakfast)
Sun City is a photographer’s dream come true with its magnificent architecture and beautiful landscapes. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a game of golf at any one of the 2 championship courses there or partake in water sports at Water World, a man–made lake, at your own expense. In the evening, you can catch a Sun City show at your own expense.

DAY 6 SUN CITY – GAME RESERVE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to a game reserve. Spend some time at leisure before you set out in an open–top bush vehicle for a guided game drive in the late afternoon. View and photograph abundant wildlife at close range and enjoy the breathtaking African sunset while your ranger explains the animals’ survival tactics in the wilderness. Note Minimum age for game drive applies, subject to each game reserve’s rules and regulations. Infants under 2 years old are not allowed on the game drive and must be left behind under the supervision of one parent.

DAY 7 GAME RESERVE – JOHANNESBURG (Breakfast/Game Meat Lunch/Dinner)
Embark on an early morning guided game drive before you transfer to Johannesburg. After lunch, proceed to Gold Reef City, a reconstruction of Johannesburg during the gold rush era. The tour includes a trip down an old gold mineshaft where you can learn more about how gold was extracted. Note Gold Reef City is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. If the attraction is affected by closure, the itinerary will be replaced with a visit to Leseal Cultural Village. Children under 5 years old are not allowed to go underground to the mineshaft.

DAY 8 JOHANNESBURG – SINGAPORE (Breakfast/Meals on Board)
This morning, visit a local flea market where you can do some last–minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.

DAY 9 ARRIVE IN SINGAPORE

DAY 8 JOHANNESBURG – VICTORIA FALLS (Breakfast)
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. The mighty Zambezi’s tranquil waters above the falls are home to hippopotamus, birds and other wildlife. Enjoy sundowners and admire the animals as night falls.

DAY 9 VICTORIA FALLS (Breakfast)
This morning, embark on a tour of Victoria Falls where water thunders into the gorge of Zambezi River, creating a mist that keeps the surrounding area permanently wet. This magnificent setting has rendered Victoria Falls as one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. Thereafter, you will make your way to an African village. This is an experience that will provide fascinating insights into village life in Zimbabwe. Shop for traditional crafts at the shops here and view traditional African–style houses. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 10 VICTORIA FALLS – JOHANNESBURG (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 11 JOHANNESBURG – SINGAPORE (Breakfast/Meals on Board)
If time permits, you can do some last–minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.

DAY 12 ARRIVE IN SINGAPORE
