ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Singapore - Delhi
SIN/DEL 9W 17 2300/0215+1
Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight on Jet Airways to Delhi, the capital of India. Upon arrival you'll be met and transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 2 - Delhi - Jaipur (B/L/D)
After breakfast proceed for a combined tour of Old Delhi & New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat, Jamma Masjid (1650AD) and drive past Red Fort. In New Delhi visit Qutab Minar, India Gate (War memorial) and drive past Parliament House, government buildings and diplomatic area. Afternoon drive for approximately 5 hours to Jaipur for overnight.
Day 3 - Jaipur (B/L/D)
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting the Amber Fort - the Old Capital of Jaipur rulers by taking a elephant ride. Later visit City Palace, Observatory, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) – built in 1799 a five-story building, which looks out over the main street with its pink, semi octagonal and delicately honeycombed sandstone windows. It was originally built to enable ladies of the royal household to watch the everyday life and processions of the city. Drive through Pink's City's residential areas.
Day 4 - Jaipur - Agra (B/L/D)
This morning, proceed to Agra. On arrival check in hotel for overnight and afternoon depart for a city tour of Agra which include the world famous Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jenan in memory of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. The construction work took 17 years to be completed (1631 – 1648). After which visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, which is believed by many to be an inspiration and model for the more famous mausoleum. It was built by Empress Noor Jehan for her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg during 1622-1628 AD. Followed by visiting Agra Fort built in 1565 by Emperor Akbak, its walls and palaces are silent witness to the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire.
Day 5 - Agra - Delhi - Singapore (B/L/D)
DEL/SIN 9W 20 2230/0650+1
After breakfast, proceed for our journey to Delhi. On arrival, free time for shopping before proceeding to Chor Bazaar for a farewell dinner. After dinner, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Day 6 - Arrival Singapore (B)
Arrive in Singapore with fond memories of a fun-filled trip to India with Universal Travel.
