While You Are In Australia

Getting around
In Australia, local transport is effective and convenient. Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and Sydney are cities in Australia that have a public transport network (trams). If you wish to travel between states, the high-speed rail, named the Great Southern Railway, is available, which links Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne through Sydney. If you wish to visit rural areas in Australia, it is recommended that you rent a car. In this case, ensure you are carrying your local driver's license.
Electricity
Electricity in Australia is supplied at 240/250 V, 50 Hz. Electrical sockets are type I.
